Summer Camp

       Explorer Club offers a fun filled Summer Camp Program for children going into 1st grade through 9th grade. Swimming, breakfast, afternoon snack, extended hours, and field trips included!Camp meets weekly Monday thru Friday, Children must have completed a year in school to attend the school age camp.

       In addition we offer a C.I.T. Program for 7th-12th graders (application required). The Counselor In Training Program (CIT) is for children going into 7th grade-12th grade in the upcoming school year. The CIT program allows future counselors to gain experience in working with children and being a leader. CITs will have a structured series of training workshops where they will have the opportunity to learn more about different aspects of being a camp counselor. These works shops will be conducted by camp directors and experienced group counselors as well as guest speakers. See our Forms page for the CIT application. 

Select Summer Camps

              Our Select Camps offer lots of options over 10 weeks of summer.  All our Select Camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to learn about or develop skills in a specific area. These are a wonderful way to expose your child to a new activity for the first time or allow a camper with an interest or talent to further develop their ability in a summer camp setting. Select camps are limited in time and space, please contact camp office for more information.

We have camps options for everyone:

Unless otherwise noted (*) all Select Camps are co -sponsored due to Covid -19, so the fee is only $5.00 per session

No Wi fi (All Ages)

       It is important to engage campers in exciting and entertaining adventure, to create a safe environment for campers to build their own stories, skills, and confidence in the world around them. Like a true Village, they work side by side to ensure success for all. The instructors will teach real skills and respect for the land. Campers learn about wilderness survival, fishing, animal tracking, wild plants, and more. All without WI-FI. (Free)

Sports Camps Age groups; (5 – 8) & (9-14) 

      Session 1; (June 15 - July 10) Basketball, Mon & Thur; Soccer, Tues & Thur;

      Session 2; (July 20 – August 14) Volleyball, Mon & Thur; Cheer; Wed & Fri

        During our four-week camp sessions, campers develop skills in the sport of their choice – Basketball, Soccer, Cheer or volleyball. Their daily routine also includes plenty of other sports and camp activities mixed in with the core values of EC summer camp experience. 

 

*Coding Boot camp; Ages; (8 -14) Monday & Friday 

Cost $10.00 per week

        Session 1 (June 17 - July 10)

        Session 2 (July 20 – August 14) 

        A coding camp combines summer camp fun with courses in  Python and other languages, giving kids and teens the opportunity to create games, apps, robots, and more. Our programs provide students hands-on experience. And low teacher to camper ratio of 1 to 3.

Painting, Cartooning with Creative Studios – All Ages; Wednesday

       Session 1 (June 15 - July 10)

       Session 2 (July 20 – August 14)

       Children explore who they are through art making. This program inspires children to find joy in creativity & confidence in themselves.

“You got Moves”, Dance with Ms. Alexis – All Ages; Wednesday & Friday

       Session 1 (June 15 - July 10)

       Participants will spend a 8 days having fun while learning all about the positive art forms of Hip-Hop Culture. Through sharing the elements of Hip-Hop arts, our goal is to help youth realize their own unique creativity, inspire confidence in themselves to express it and encourage them to apply their creativity in all parts of life.  

Sci-Fi LAB with EC Staff – All Ages; Friday

       Session 2 (July 20 – August 14)

       SCI-FI Labs presents a series of weekly science camps. Offering themes such as "Med School: Gross Anatomy” to “What’s Inside a Laptop”, our camp is designed to enhance your child’s critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.

Gymnastics with Gym America – All Ages; Wednesdays

       Session 1 (June 22 - July 10) 

       Session 2 (July 20 – August 14)

        You will roll, run, jump, balance, and play on the vault, bars, beam, and trampoline in a fun and safe environment with our certified gymnastics instructors. 
 

Yu-gi-oh Time with Explorer Club Staff – All Ages; Friday

        Session 1; June 19 - July 10th,

        Join Mr. Nathan to play one of the most popular trading card games in the world! Collect powerful monster cards and trap cards and win against your opponents in Yu-Gi-Oh! Create a powerful and balanced deck using magic cards, monster cards, fusion cards, trap cards, and special cards and create a strategy that will guarantee your victory! Don’t know how, we will teach you. 

*Horsing Around with EC Staff – All ages; Friday a.m.

Cost $65.00 (6 weeks)

       Session 1 (June 26 - July 10) Make class for July 3rd, will be July 17th

        Session 2 (July 20 – August 7)

        Led by Kori, she is great at working with horses & riders of all ages & all levels. She prides herself on teaching clear communication between horse and rider, creating a lifelong relationship. She teaches from the ground up to instill confidence between you and your horse partner. (Small groups only).
