STEAM

STEAM Program

STEM + ART  + MORE = STEAM

At The Explorer Club, STEAM represents the combination of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math and more. The inclusion of adding Art to the STEM core subjects is essential to encouraging your students’ creative and critical thinking skills.

STEAM activities support curiosity, creativity, innovative thinking and help prepare students for an unknown future.

Scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and leaders all need to develop creative thinking, critical thinking and problems solving skills to be successful in creating new and unique solutions related to their field or industry.

No matter what unknown technologies, industries or careers lay ahead, creative thinkers and problem solvers will be the future innovators, leaders and face it “job getters”.

Our programs teaches your students how to think creatively and how to solve problems. This is how we prepare your children for an unknown future.

SAVE TIME & MONEY:

Encouraging creativity using STEAM activities does not require a lot of time, prep, or fancy materials. We use common household items to stretch and grow your students’ natural curiosity.

Explorer Club offers parents the option to register their children for "Fun Days." Fun Days are scheduled days when your child either (1) does not report to school all day or (2) has a half day. Our fun day calendar is based off of South Arbor and East Arbor Academic Calendars. These days consist of activities in the arts, sciences, sports, games, field trips, and more. See rates page for 1/2 day, full day, and full week Fun Day Rates. The hours for full fun days are 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and for half days Explorer Club will transport the children from South Arbor and East Arbor to the center once they are released. Children will need to have a packed lunch for home, but breakfast and afternoon snack is provided.
